Bike Loppet RESULTS

Upcoming:

February 21, 2016: Locals Appreciation Day!

Trail walkers: 'tis the season for snowshoes or skis! Walking with boots on the trails now that we are grooming creates hazards for the other recreationalists out there. A reminder- whether you are biking, skiing or snowshoeing, FAST yields to SLOW :)  Dog friendly trails include Geneva Loop during weekdays and all of the snowshoe trails everyday.

We are OPEN 7 days a week, 9AM to 4PM.

All our trails, including a new trail, Nats Alley, will be open this year! Nats Alley starts at the intersection of Upper Pipeline and Larry Hall and runs east to Upper Pumphouse. Grand views from this trail of the eastern flank of Saddleback and beyond! Heard on the trail - "Nats Alley is by far the best Nordic trail in Maine. The views are spectacular!"

The Moose Dash 2016 is featured in Runners World!!!

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is located in the heart of Maine's scenic western mountain and lake region. This area has an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. Superb snow conditions plus fantastic terrain and grooming  make Nordic skiing here a wonderful experience for novice to expert. We also have a growing network of scenic single-track trails for snowshoeing.

Our rustic Yurt serves as our lodge. Ski and snowshoe rentals, hot and cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and hot soup are available in the yurt during the winter snow season.

Local lodgings range from fine hotels or bed and breakfast accommodations to motels and private luxury winter homes, condos, and quaint cabins. To find out more about where to stay in the Rangeley Lakes Region check our Links page for some recommendations.

Hey, kids (and kids in all of us)! Look what's appearing at the Trails Center this winter...Gnome Homes are popping up in all kinds of places out on the trails. There are even gnomes "living" inside. You are welcome to explore our new woodland creatures' domiciles as you enjoy our top-rated trails! Tell us about your gnome sitings when you get back to the yurt. HAVE FUN!!
Welcome to the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center, nestled on the side of Saddleback Mountain with 55 km of mapped trails for XC skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking.
