4-13-13:  We have closed the yurt lodge for the season. However, now the skiing and snowshoeing is FREE!!!!  20K Groomed up today, most with a track. We have 2" FRESH SNOW!!!!!

As long as the snow lasts, on nights that it freezes, plan to get here just when it starts to thaw.  The trails will be edgable and not too soft :)

If you have a great day and do not have a season pass feel free to drop some $ in the donation box at the outside kiosk.

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is located in the heart of Maine's scenic western mountain and lake region. This area has an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. Superb snow conditions plus fantastic terrain make Nordic skiing here a wonderful experience for novice to expert. We also have a growing selection of great single-track trails for snowshoeing.
 

Our rustic Yurt serves as our lodge. It is located just 2.5 miles off Dallas Hill Road on Saddleback Mountain Road. Ski and snowshoe rentals, hot and cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and hot soup are available in the yurt during the winter snow season.

Welcome to the Rangeley Lakes Trails Center, nestled on the side of Saddleback Mountain with 55 km of mapped trails for XC skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. We are the home of the Rangeley Lakes XC Ski Club, dedicated to providing an exceptional Nordic ski experience since 1995. Soon to become the Snowshoe Destination of the East!
