OPEN for the 2017-18 winter season - 9AM-4PM every day

Wednesday, 2-21-18:  We are OPEN today! Very edgeable and soft in most places on the groomers. Spring like conditions on all trails as we enjoy bright sun this morning and a brief break from winter! Tomorrow it's back in the freezer, with more snow expected Friday and Sunday :) Bikers, you'll have to wait for another day, as the trails are expected to be too soft for tires today.

The critters that call RLTC home are becoming more active as the days get longer - otter, beaver, moose, deer, snowshoe hare, and fox are a few we share the trails with here! Moose sighting on Sisu this past weekend:)

2018 Fat Bike Loppet RESULTS

A big thank you to the fat tire bike loppet participants, our exceptional volunteers and the sponsors of the Bike Loppet. It was a great day full of sun, hard track and good cheer! We can't wait for next year!

Get the latest trail conditions instantly through your mobile phone! Download the app today and LOVE us @ Trailhub.org!

A reminder that winter trail use is limited to skiers, snowshoers or fat tire bikers. Hiking and walking on the trails cause postholes which can create potentially dangerous conditions for other trail users. Thank you!

Save the dates!

3 - 3 - 18:   Rangeley Loppet XXIII    Skireg

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is located in the heart of Maine's scenic western mountain and lake region. This area has an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. Superb snow conditions plus fantastic terrain and grooming  make Nordic skiing here a wonderful experience for novice to expert. We also have a growing network of scenic single-track trails for snowshoeing.

Our rustic Yurt serves as our lodge. Ski and snowshoe rentals, hot and cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and hot soup are available in the yurt during the winter snow season.

Local lodgings range from fine hotels or bed and breakfast accommodations to motels and private luxury winter homes, condos, and quaint cabins. To find out more about where to stay in the Rangeley Lakes Region check our Links page for some recommendations.

Thanks go out to this hardworking group from South Church in Andover, MA who volunteered their time to help sweep the trails after the big windstorm this fall. Thanks also to Jan Holden, Jen Murray, and Al Jopell! Many hands made light work!
Hey, kids (and kids in all of us)! Look what's appearing at the Trails Center this winter...Gnome Homes are popping up in all kinds of places out on the trails. There are even gnomes "living" inside. You are welcome to explore our new woodland creatures' domiciles as you enjoy our top-rated trails! Tell us about your gnome sitings when you get back to the yurt. HAVE FUN!!
