Early Novembers' wicked wind storm brought down many trees and branches throughout the trails system. We welcome help cleaning up the trails prior to first snow. Branches larger than 2" should be thrown beyond the groomer path. We'll take care of the big stuff! Even an hour or two will make a huge difference- many hands make light work :)

A big thank you to Boss Power Equipment for our loaner 4 wheeler this fall!!
A reminder that RLTC is a multi-use trails system. October 1st signals the start of hunting season. Please wear safety orange when out on the trails this fall!

See you on the trails!

The Rangeley Lakes Trails Center is located in the heart of Maine's scenic western mountain and lake region. This area has an annual snowfall approaching 200 inches. Superb snow conditions plus fantastic terrain and grooming  make Nordic skiing here a wonderful experience for novice to expert. We also have a growing network of scenic single-track trails for snowshoeing.

Our rustic Yurt serves as our lodge. Ski and snowshoe rentals, hot and cold beverages, a variety of snacks, and hot soup are available in the yurt during the winter snow season.

Local lodgings range from fine hotels or bed and breakfast accommodations to motels and private luxury winter homes, condos, and quaint cabins. To find out more about where to stay in the Rangeley Lakes Region check our Links page for some recommendations.
